Québec Self-Employed Program

Assisting Professionals & Businesspersons with Quebec Permanent Residency

Québec Self-Employed Program

Permanent Residency Program for Self-Employed Professionals & Businesspersons
In order to immigrate to Quebec as a self-employed businessperson, foreign nationals interested in applying must (1) have two years of relevant experience in the profession or trade the applicant intends to practice in Quebec, (2) possess a personal net worth of $100,000 CAD, (3) have sufficient settlement funding and (4) will come to Quebec to create employment for the applicant by practicing a profession defined in the National Occupational Classification. Prospective applicants in the Quebec self-employed program must also be able to meet occupational or licensing requirements.

The self-employed applicant is assessed under a selection and pre-selection system comprising several factors. Given that the candidates are subject to a selection process, there is a limited number of applications that Quebec accepts and the program closes upon reaching its cap every year.

Successful candidates in the self-employed program are eligible to apply for permanent residency.

If you are a businessperson or a professionals planning to immigrate to Quebec under the self-employed program contact us for a strategic solution and to schedule a legal consultation.
